The LUNA-FX7™ is our most powerful cell counter to date, with unmatched cell counting accuracy, new 1, 3 and 8-chamber slide options, state of the art optics, dual fluorescent and brightfield detection, precision autofocus, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. The LUNA-FX7™ has built-in quality control software and new validation slides for monitoring QC and production. By combining the trademark ease of use characteristic of all LUNA™ counters with the enhanced accuracy, higher throughput, and software upgrades - the LUNA-FX7™ will improve the efficiency and security of your lab's workflow.
The effect of cell counting volume on accuracy is often overlooked. Manual counting and most automated cell counters detect cells in a counting volume of ~ 0.5 µl. The LUNA-FX7™ utilizes a counting volume of up to 5.1 µl, lowering error and CV for each count. Improved de-clustering algorithms and precise autofocus further add to the LUNA-FX7™’s accuracy and reliability.
Not only the simple and efficient operation via intuitive touchscreen controls, brightfield and dual fluorescent detection options, multiple counting modes, and customizable protocols allow you to easily optimize for your cell and sample type. Counting results may be exported as a CSV summary or a comprehensive PDF report with raw and tagged images. With an internal 250GB hard drive, no additional computer is needed and data may be exported via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or USB flash drive.
A new bioprocess feature allows you to monitor, record, and analyze your different bioprocessing activities individually. Growth rates and trend charts may be produced that enable you to trace production and accurately forecast timelines.
The LUNA-FX7™ validation slides and QC software allow you to be confident and trust in your data. The brightfield and fluorescent validation slides offer exact cell concentration and viability while the QC features provide the ability to store, monitor, and analyze quality control data.
The SpectraSlide® is a disposable cell counting device designed for use with the LUNA-FX7™ automated cell counters, integrating cell sampling and staining into one convenient tool. Simply insert the slide into your sample, press the Cell Sampling button, then count your sample. No mixing, no mess, and no pipetting.
The CountWire™ System allows multiple users to remotely access and manage data from LUNA-FX7™ units, and it completely supports 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, enabling the LUNA-FX7™ Automated Cell Counter to be used in a regulated process.
