CAR-T cell therapy is a groundbreaking personalized immunotherapy that genetically engineers a patient’s own T Cells, modifying the cells to recognize and attack specific cancer cells. However, biomanufacturing T Cells for this type of immunotherapy means following incredibly strict regulatory and QA/QC guidelines to ensure patient safety and efficacy.
Thanks to the built-in quality control features and the Validation Slide, the LUNA-FX7™ automated cell counter can perform daily QC monitoring and reporting. The unique bioprocess option monitors, records, and analyzes individual bioprocessing activities. Growth rates and trend charts can be produced to track production and accurately forecast timelines.
In addition, the optional CountWire™ system allows multiple users to remotely access and manage data from the unit (or multiple LUNA-FX7™ units) for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. By offering an on-site server for data storage, the CountWire™ system provides an added layer of security compared to cloud-based data storage options.
