What are the dates of the Golden Opportunity Giveaway?
It begins October 1, 2023, and ends on December 29, 2023.
How do I register for the Golden Opportunity Event?
There are three ways to register for the Golden Opportunity Event:
1. Visit https://logosbio.com/event_/logos-biosystems-is-celebrating-its-15th-anniversary-during-the-golden-opportunity-giveaway
2. Scan the QR code found on the Golden Opportunity Flyer,
3. Contact a local Logos Biosystems representative or distributor for assistance.
Do I have to be a current Logos Biosystems customer to participate in the Golden Opportunity giveaway?
No, you do not have to be a current Logos Biosystems customer to participate in the random drawing for 1 (one) of 15 (fifteen) prizes including an Apple iPad* or $15.00 Amazon* e-Gift card (Event #1).
Do I have to make a purchase to participate in the Golden Opportunity giveaway?
No, there is no purchase necessary to enter the random drawing for 1 (one) of 15 (fifteen) prizes including an Apple iPad* or $15.00 Amazon* e-Gift card (Event #1).
There is an exclusive event (Event #2) designed specifically for current Logos Biosystems customers involving a random prize drawing if a purchase is made during the promotional dates. However, this a separate event.
How many times can I enter the Golden Opportunity Giveaway, Event #1 (the drawing for 1 of 15 prizes)?
It’s one registration per person. Multiple entries do not increase your odds of winning. If you qualify for Event #2 or Event #3, you will automatically be registered for Event #1.
Do I have to submit my work email address when registering ?
We strongly encourage you to submit a work email address; however, you may submit a valid private email address. Please know that the email address used for registration will be the same email address that is used for prize notification in the event you are a winner.
What if I’m a current customer and register for Event #2, can I participate in Event #1 also?
Yes, current customers participating in Event #2 will automatically be entered in Event #1 once the registration form for Event #2 has been submitted
What if I’m interested in a demo and register for Event #3, can I participate in Event #1 also?
Yes! Individuals participating in Event #3 will automatically be entered in Event #1 once the registration form for Event #3 has been submitted .and processed.
What if I’m interested in a demo but my lab is in a lockdown facility? Can I still participate?
Yes, you can still participate! Logos Biosystems is happy to offer remote demos when necessary.
We understand that certain labs have very specific guidelines and policies in place. Once you register for Event #3, a local Logos Biosystems representative or distributor will contact you to help make those arrangements.
For Event #2, if I’m a current customer and I make a purchase in one month and then another purchase the following month, can I register for Event #2 twice?
Yes! Current customers making a purchase in one month should register for the random drawing for that month. If another purchase is made the following month, you can register for the random drawing for the following month.
For example, if a purchase is made in October, you would register for the October random drawing for Event #2. Then, in November, you find extra money in your budget and decide to make a purchase in November. After that purchase is complete, you would register for the November random drawing for Event #2.
The key is registering for the random drawing in the SAME MONTH as the purchase is made.
The Golden Opportunity Giveaway is valid October 1, 2023, through December 29, 2023. Event #2 random drawings will be held each month of the campaign (October, November, December).
What if I only use Logos equipment from a core facility but don’t have one in my lab. Can I still participate in Event #2?
Yes! If you purchase consumables from Logos Biosystems during the promotional dates, you can participate in Event #2 even if you’re simply using Logos Bio equipment through a core facility or neighboring lab.
How are the random drawings handled?
The random drawings for Event #1 and Event #2 will be conducted using software designed to automatically and randomly generate winning numbers.
The registration forms are assigned numbers by the software based on the date/time the registration form is submitted and securely stored until the day of the drawing.
For Event #1’s random drawing , the three (3) Apple iPad winners will be chosen first, then the fifteen (15 ) Amazon e-Gift card winners will be selected.
How will the Golden Opportunity prizes be distributed?
Winners will be notified by email with the email address provided during registration.
What if I win one of the $15.00 Amazon e-Gift cards but Amazon is not available in my area?
If an individual wins a $15.00 Amazon e-Gift card but Amazon is not available where they are located,, the local Logos Biosystems distributor or representative will discuss alternatives.
What if I participate in Event #3 and complete a demo but Starbucks is not located in my area?
Your local Logos Biosystems distributor or representative will work with you to provide an alternative solution.
If I win one of the $15.00 Amazon e-Gift cards, can I choose a different e-Gift card instead?
No substitutions or cash exchanges are allowed.
What if I win a $15.00 e-Gift card but live in a different country with a different currency?
The e-Gift cards automatically accommodate for any differences in currency.
Should I contact Amazon to check the status of the delivery of my e-Gift card if I’m a winner?
No. If you are the winner of one of the Golden Opportunity Giveaway prizes (an Apple iPad, Amazon e-Gift card or Starbucks e-Gift card), all communication regarding the delivery of the prize will come from Logos Biosystems.
However, once you receive your prize if you experience any technical difficulties, or issues with the e-Gift card, you should contact the vendor.
The Golden Opportunity Giveaway is a promotional event held expressly by Logos Biosystems/Aligned Genetics. Apple, Amazon and Starbucks are not affiliated with this event.
