Inexpensive and reliable cell counter.
We use this instrument on a daily basis to count various cell types, including suspension and adherent cells. It is an easy-to-use automatic cell counter, which saves a lot of our time during cell seeding and especially when several people work in the lab. We use single-use catridges, but a rather expensive option of multi-use glass cartridge is available. In the instrument setting, one can adjust the parameters used to define viable vs. non-viable cells, such as size and roundness for more accurate counting. After counting, the user can highlight the viable and non-viable cells to check if the counting was correct.
