Accurate counts for hard to count cell types.
We primarily do cardiomyocyte differentiations from iPSCs. This system, with the Acridine Orange/Propidium iodide stain, lets us count cardiomyocytes with much more accuracy than our previous Countess system. This has greatly enahnced our quality control and the reproducibility of the experiments. Software is easy to use. Very nice piece of equipment, if a little on the expensive side. Overall, the improvements are worth the price.
