I recently bought this digital fluorescence imaging system. There is no eyepiece so you view the image directly on a monitor. How convenient! I was skeptical at first because it is so small, but having used it, I can attest that the image quality is top notch. Although focusing is a bit difficult, this is because I bought the older model. The latest model, the CELENA S, has both autofocusing and live cell imaging features. Although I bought the older model to save a few pennies, I am thoroughly satisfied with the image quality of this imaging system.
