Great for counting erythrocytes.
We use this to count RBCs in whole blood and it is simply way faster and easier than using a hemacytometer. The automated cell counter is excellent and extremely convenient. Using trypan blue, we are able to clearly differentiate between erythrocytes and nucleated leukocytes.

Gain of time and very reproducible.
Many people are using cell culture in the lab from highly experimented technicians to new trainees. Errors were often made in the way to count cells and time was wasted. Thanks to the Luna II we can now count effectively, rapidly, and reproducibly our cells to get more reproducible results between two experimenters and we win time to have more coffee breaks between colleagues.

It’s really great!
I was using a hemocytometer to count cells from patient fluid samples. This device saves me so much time and provides a precise and accurate cell count, including live and dead cells. It can even be programmed to count big and small cells, which is especially useful for processing tumor samples.

Extremely easy to use and fast!
Some of the biggest concerns I had doing cell culture were the cell counting unreliability and error-prone human dependency. Also doing and redoing counting using a tick-counter and neubauer chamber in hurry is problematic. This LUNA-II counter is exact answer to those problems and makes my job easier!
